"I had a deck problem that leaked from the first year it was built 25 years ago. In most cases, this would not have been a problem except that there’s a family room below that deck complete with computer equipment, furnishings, and laundry appliances. Every time we had a drenching rain, the wall above the deck got soaked and allowed water to leak into our family room ceiling. I asked an architect for an idea for a pitched roof, and Scott took that idea and improved on it by adding an attractive vaulted ceiling and a waterproof deck coating system. It rained inches and inches on my house this year and there was no leak. This remodel saved the house. Scott left copies of the plans, permits, and names of all of the subcontractors and engineers involved. My grandfather was a builder, my father built his own, and it was a pleasure to have a true craftsman around again."
